new sense of what stained glass is about is bought to us by Artglass-UK,
which was set up by Fi Kilpatrick, who uses stained glass to create
fresh innovative designs. From room or fireplace screens to backgammon
boards or windows, as well as limited production kiln formed glass
bowls & landscapes, their potential in modern interiors/architecture
is limitless. The glass adds an amazing dimension to her pieces -
its purity and the vibrancy of the colour gives the images a unique
clarity.

prefers to use line & a limited colour palette & to let the
ever seductive glass do the work – allowing a flowing surface
texture & giving an incredible translucence to each item/piece,
enabling the viewer to see the symphony of hues & patterns within
the glass itself.
Fi
regularly teaches & exhibits throughout the UK.
